Professionals
As an extended care, transitional program, we do not force our clients to eat, nor do we lock bathrooms or monitor every bite of food. However, we do provide safety, structure, and tools necessary to prevent relapse. In this nurturing, respectful and safe environment women heal from the shame, guilt, and confusion associated with eating disorders.
For The Professional
We are respectful of each person's need to recover at her own pace. Each client's program for treatment of bulimia, anorexia, or other disorders, is individualized and based upon a level system that involves individual and group therapy, homework assignments, 12-step meetings, behavioral goals, relationship goals, weight goals (if applicable), and nutrition goals. As clients advance through the level system they are given increased opportunities to challenge themselves and assess their progress. They start using their skills in the 'real world' with job interviews, vocational training, school, work, interpersonal relationships, or volunteer opportunities.
Some of our services that can be individualized for the needs of each client are:
We also provide additional structure for local therapists by offering our programs to clients who might require extra support between individual sessions. Our clinical team works closely with the referring therapist and registered dietitian.
