Making peace with food is a process of legitimizing food to eliminate the guilt and deprivation that can lead to behaviors such as binge eating. This requires not labeling food or judging food, but returning all food to neutral status. It teaches the clients to give themselves unconditional permission to eat all foods and trust their bodies to make a healthy balance.

Rebecca Presents at the 2nd Annual SEED Conference
February 17-19, 2011Rebecca will be speaking at the Annual Southeastern Eating Disorder Conference, of which Rebecca is a founder. SEED is particularly beneficial for mental health professionals who work with children, adolescents, adults, and families with eating disorders. The topic this year is integrative treatment for eating disorders. The conference will take place at The Georgia Center at the University of Georgia's Conference Center in Athens, Georgia.
