We
provide a safe environment in
a homelike setting where women
can learn life skills and heal
emotional wounds while
establishing healthy
lifestyles free from eating
disorders. At least one staff
member is on premise
twenty-four hours a day, seven
days a week. Our levels of
care provide structure ranging
from intense treatment to
programs that include work,
school, and/or voluntary
opportunities. Our goal is to
help clients transition into
the real world.
Rebecca’s House is an
elegantly appointed 5500 sq.
ft., 5-bedroom, secluded home
located just minutes from
Laguna Beach in Southern
California. Some of our
amenities include a pool,
vegetable garden, flower
gardens, Jacuzzi, sauna,
meditation cottage, gym,
outside fire circle, and a
crafts area. The house is
within walking distance of a
mall, 12-step meetings, banks,
shops, and employment
opportunities. There are many
optional activities such as
swimming, cooking classes,
sewing, massages, and
gardening—all in a warm
atmosphere of recovering women
helping each other.
Many of our clients have
completed some form of
in-patient treatment and need
support to transition back
into the “real world.” Others
find they don’t need the level
of care provided by in-patient
treatment, but they do need
structure and guidance to
recover from their eating
disorder. Both types of
clients do well at Rebecca's
House.
Our program provides a caring,
step by step treatment plan
based on the need for an
individual to get back in
touch with Self and
internalize her own controls.
Our goal is to help women
suffering from eating
disorders find their authentic
Self and learn to care for
themselves in a healthy
manner. The daily program at
Rebecca's House is filled with
activities to help women
realize that they can live a
healthy, happy life, free of
their eating disorder.
