Rebecca's House Eating Disorder Treatment Programs Offers Outside Services to Therapists and Community

Rebecca's House and it's staff are happy to announce the following service offerings we have included to support therapists in training, families finding there way with loved ones with eating disorders and those in their own recovery. We have had great results in participation over the last year and welcome you to use these services for yourself or to refer those you find could benefit from them.

iaedp (International Associations of Eating Disorders Professionals) provides certification for therapists who treat patients with eating disorders.



This Supervision will provide the required Supervision in order to qualify for iaedpcertification, CEDS (Certified Eating Disorder Specialist).

  • Determine if and what previous hours qualify for equivalency
  • Assess previous hours supporting documents
  • Patient discussion and guidance
  • Assistance with the required case study
  • Prepare candidate to successfully pass the iaedp Certification Examination


This supervision is available to Master's level professionals from an accredited institution in the health/ behavioral science field who are licensed (intern number is acceptable) or certified as a healthcare professional by his/her state's licensing/certification. 2000 direct eating disorder patient contact hours are required to be under the supervision of an iaedp approved supervisor.


Additional Requirements for CEDS Certification

Candidates for the CEDS must satisfactorily complete all four Core Courses. Candidates for the CEDS-RD, because of their existing advanced training and experience with nutrition and dietetics, must satisfactorily complete Courses 1, 2, and 3 only. iaedpTM's  Core  Curriculum  is  offered online  through    Each Core  Course  costs  $100   for  iaedpTM  members  and  $125 for  non-members.

Community and Family Support Groups at Rebecca's House


Our support groups are open to anyone in need of more information about eating disorders; how to help and support someone who is struggling and their own healing, and sense of community. Eating Disorder Family Systems Group

Thursday 6-7pm Therapist facilitated


Psycho-educational and process group

This group is a free support group to support the families & friends of someone struggling or overcoming an eating disorder. All are welcome to attend. If you are not sure if this group can help you or you simply have questions about your loved one, please attend and meet with the facilitator who is happy to answer questions and can provide assistance with an assessment of the presenting situation.


ABA Support Group

Monday and Friday 2:30-3:30pm


ABA uses the Twelve-Step Program adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous to address the mental, emotional, and spiritual components of the disorders of anorexia and bulimia. Many people who identify compulsive overeating as the primary component of their eating disorder have been able to relate to our program and have found recovery through it. They are welcome to participate in our Fellowship.


OA Support Group

Wednesday 9-10am

OA is not just about weight loss, weight gain or maintenance, or obesity or diets. It addresses physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. It is not a religious organization and does not promote any particular diet.
